Draft Theory

A draft screen and its own controller for solo streamers and pros running mock drafts. One person drafts both teams, talks through every pick, and the stream shows the thinking, not just the gods.

One camera

The other layouts are built for two casters. Draft Theory has one big 16:9 camera in the middle for you.

The whole draft order

All 20 steps run across the top, numbered, with a NOW bar that says which step it is and who is up.

Why, not just what

Tag every pick and ban with a reason, like Target ban or Counter pick. It shows on stream next to your name.

A game plan

Set each team's style, when it is strongest and its win condition. The stream shows what each comp still needs.

Practice tools

Your own tier list with flex badges, a shot clock, undo, fearless series, what ifs and replays.

2 What your stream sees

This preview follows the controller as you draft. Open the controller or the draft screen on their own, or change the look in the Create studio.

3 Add it to your OBS

Already set up with another layout? You only swap two addresses. Your scenes and other sources stay as they are.

  1. Add the controller as a dock

Docks menu, Custom Browser Docks, give it a name like Draft Theory and paste this address. You can keep your old panel dock too.

  2. Point your draft scene at Draft Theory

Open your draft Browser Source, paste this address over the old one, keep it 1920 x 1080 and leave "Shutdown source when not visible" off. Or add a new Browser Source in a new scene.

  3. Line up your camera

Put your webcam under the overlay and size it to the box in the middle (880 x 495). The box is see through.

  4. Check it is linked

The controller says LINKED to Draft Theory once the screen is listening.

Draft from your phone. Press Phone at the top of the controller in OBS, then scan the square with your phone. Your phone becomes the controller while the dock stays open in OBS.
